1:3. La hwaung-ya li-yen ih-kuh nyung-kuh sang-chi han lau-wo, Yui-be Tsu-kuh ka-dau, tsauh-dzuh Yi-kuh loo. | 在曠野有人聲喊著說、預備主的道、修直他的路。』 | “a voice of one calling in the desert,‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’”. | |
1:4 Taung-z Iak-‘oen le, la hwaung-ya li ‘ang si-li lau, kaung hwe-ke-kuh si-li, i-ts dzoe-nyih tuh-dzak nyau-so.̤ ̤ duâi. | 照這話、約翰來了、在曠野施洗、傳悔改的洗禮、使罪得赦。 | And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. | |
